From 1st September 2024, all Noise Chap hearing and lung testing services moved over to Aardvark Occupational Health. For clients, there is no change to what you have received from us before and it will be the same personnel undertaking the testing, in the same mobile units, working to the same schedules and generating the same reports, just with the backing of a larger and more specialised GP-owned occupational health business.

Aardvark are owned and run by Dr Catherine Lewis, an ex-NHS GP and are a sister company of C2 Safety. Based in Somerset but working nationally, Aardvark have taken over our screening business but clients should rest assured, they have very much the same ‘personal’ approach you are used to with us, except now the Techs coming to your site have the support behind them of a GP-owned specialist business.

As with The Noise Chap, you have one single point of contact there so no faceless sales office and Lewis Lloyd-Jones is the new Adam.

Contact information for Aardvark is https://aardvark.health and lewis@aardvark.health for the email, or 01278 228988. For any quotes or queries relating to this just give Lewis a shout or use the form below and that will land with Lewis as well.

If you have already emailed me about audiometry or spirometry I will forward it on to Aardvark and let you know as well.

Noise assessments are unchanged and will continue to be provided by me.

If you have an outstanding invoice relating to on-site work taking place before 31st August 2024 there are no changes and that remains payable to The Noise Chap Ltd, as invoiced. Any new jobs taking place from 1st September 2024 onwards will then be provided by Aardvark and invoiced by them.

Cheers,

Adam

Aardvark are owned and led by Dr Catherine Lewis, a former GP working in Somerset, supported by a specialist team.

Their approach is very much the same as The Noise Chap - no corporate over-selling, no faceless mega-office somewhere, just a small team of people looking to do the best job they can for an ever-growing client base.

By taking on the screening services of The Noise Chap both Aardvark and our existing clients benefit. For Aardvark they improve their national reach via our Techs based in Gloucester, Manchester and Chesterfield, while for clients the Techs are now much better supported in terms of the in-house expertise they can call on. Clients can also call on a wider range of services such as hand-arm vibration, night worker assessments, sickness management, etc.

The changes for client should be minimal - same personnel providing the same services, in the same mobile units, to the same level, just with better in-house support and a deeper occupational health expertise and range of services available.
